NEW! Now you can book the Pt Reyes classes online

  • Our creamery is located at Tomales Bay Foods, a restored barn at 80 4th Street in Point Reyes Station. There is also a cheese counter for tasting and purchasing cheese, and a nice selection of cheese books, knives, boards and condiments to pair with cheese. The Cowgirl Cantina is a gourmet deli and wine shop, and the barn has additional shops with local produce and other great finds.

  • Peak through a glassed-in viewing window and watch as we make cheese -- Wednesday through Sunday, from 10am to 2pm. The shop is open until 6pm.

  • Better yet, sign up for our Cheese 101: Cheese Class and Tasting. Currently, classes are held on Fridays at 11:30. Check the dates on the drop-down menu when you book. The class consists of a 60-minute presentation on how and why we got started as a company and how we make our cheese. It includes an up-close curd-making demonstration and a guided tasting of all of the Cowgirl Creamery cheeses. The charge for the class is $5 per person and reservations are recommended. Special group classes can be scheduled for groups of 8 or more by sending an email to Michael or calling 415.663.9335.

Classes are not recommended for children under age 7.

New! The Cowgirl Ferry Building Experience
along the Embarcadero in San Francisco

Invite up to nine of your friends for a 30 minute Cowgirl Creamery Experience at the Cowgirl shop in San Francisco's landmark Ferry Building. Afterwards, participants can explore the cheese counter with its array of impeccably handled American and European farmstead and artisan cheeses.

Groups are limited to 10 people. $100 for the group - one to ten people.
