SHIPPING POLICY & RATES

Shipping charges are determined by the weight of the collection and the state to which the order is being shipped.  There is an individual charge for each collection that you order.  A $2 surcharge will be added for some rural areas.  Please refer to the chart below to determine the appropriate shipping charge for your order.

Shipping Cheese

Due to the perishable nature of cheese and our standards for the quality of our cheese, we ship only next-day FedEx Monday through Wednesday.

It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that the recipient will be home on the day of delivery. If in doubt, consider shipping to the recipient's place of business or calling the gift recipient in advance. The buyer may be responsible for the costs associated with any reshipping of gifts.

A correct street address is essential - FedEx doesn't deliver to PO Boxes. Address corrections made after packages have been picked up by FedEx may result in extra charges to the buyer - $10 for the correction plus any transportation costs. These fees are charged to us by FedEx. Address corrections will also add at least one day to the delivery time.

Tracking Your Order
The buyer will be emailed the FedEx tracking number of each package that is sent. We track all of our shipments throughout the day to confirm timely delivery. If the buyer registers an email address and establishes a password when the order is placed, the shipment can be tracked through our website. We are available to assist with tracking orders Monday through Friday 8 to 4:30 Pacific Time at 866.433.7834.

FedEx will not require a signature at residential addresses and they will leave the package if no one is at home and the FedEx courier feels it is safe to do so. Use caution when shipping to an apartment building. When a doorperson isn't available to receive a package, FedEx may or may not leave the package and delivery will be delayed by at least one day. We pack our cheeses for maximum freshness and recommend that the cheese be refrigerated within a few hours of delivery.
