Happy Thanksgiving!

In celebration of the 2011 fall harvest, we give thanks to our dairy farmers, cheesemakers and the cows, goats and sheep that give milk to the cause of sweet, nutty, tart and sumptuous cheese.

As you gather around the Thanksgiving table, we invite you to share some of our favorite cheeses. Order this week for delivery before Thanksgiving.

The HOLIDAY Collection

This is the same crowd-pleasing cheeseboard that we offer every holiday season because it simply defines the season. It includes our own ripe and creamy MT TAM (8oz), the English classic holiday blue, Colston Bassett Stilton (12oz), and the luscious Cabot Creamery Clothbound Cheddar (12oz), aged at the Cellars of Jasper Hill for a minimum of 18 months. Set it out and watch it fly. Order here

The Cowgirls are resting up for the feast, in anticipation of the holiday blitz that follows right behind Thanksgiving. We are, however, making time for activities outside of shop and creamery life to participate in important community events. Sue Conley will be joining a conversation on "Urban Gardens to Open Range: The Present and Future of Bay Area Food Landscapes" at the Brower Center in Berkeley on November 16th along with representatives from Pie Ranch, Land Paths, Earth Island Institute and Sustainable Agricultural Education. Should be a lively discussion.

If you were wondering what kind of crop thrive in West Marin's cool coastal climate... this Saturday is the last Farmers Market of the season in Point Reyes. Don't miss it!
