ST PAT is Back!
"You can accomplish more with a kind word and a bit of Cowgirl Creamery cheese than you can with just a kind word." Okay, we've altered the Irish proverb just a bit, but as we all know, the Irish encourage exaggeration as long as it makes for a better story. ST PAT, our spring seasonal cheese, is made with whole Jersey milk from John Taverna¹s Chileno Valley Dairy. ST PAT has a soft and creamy interior and is wrapped in aromatic green stinging nettle leaves, which are collected in late February along creek banks that run through two organic farms in Bolinas; Star Route and Paradise Valley Farms. The cheese is released for Saint Patrick's day and runs through early summer.

Our Irish Collection

A toast to our Irish roots in this season of the feast day of Saint Patrick, who drove the snakes from Ireland. This collection includes our own creamy ST PAT, along with Ardrahan, a luscious washed rind from County Cork; McQuade's Celtic Fig & Ginger Chutney; a slice of Montgomery's Cheddar (as a gesture to peace and goodwill between Ireland and Britain). Order here.
