The WELL, HELLO 2012! Collections

Start out 2012 with a savory combination of cheeses. Begin with our own triple creme MT TAM. Add to that Sottocenere, an Italian cow milk cheese and Montagne du Jura, a rich and nutty cow milk cheese from Switzerland. A bag of Rustic Bakery Sea Salt & Olive Oil crackers is included. Order the regular collection here.

The WELL, HELLO 2012! Deluxe collection (pictured) includes TWO bags of crackers plus a handcrafted bamboo cutting board and two cheese knives. Order the Deluxe Collection here.

CLUB TIME
It's the third week of January and we are preparing to ship our monthly collection to our Cheese Club members. Why not join the club, if you are not already a member? January's club focuses on cheeses from the dairy region that straddle Sonoma and Marin counties.

This month we will be teaching a cheese seminar at Yosemite Park's Chef's Holidays Series, which also features a dinner by one of our favorite chefs, David Barzigan, from San Francisco's Fifth Floor Restaurant.

Bone up on your cheese knowledge. Sign up now for the Cheese School of San Francisco Masters Series. Our own Peggy Smith will kick off the series with a class on Tasting Cheese; Identifying Cheese Flavors and Adam Smith will lead a Cheese and Beer course through our Washington, DC shop.

Winter is a splendid time to visit Point Reyes Station, the place where the Cowgirl Creamery dream was hatched. Plan on lunch at our Cantina where Chef Anthony Starelli and his kitchen team prepare hearty, delicious food fit for a picnic along on one of the seashore's extensive trails. Or, if you are in the mood for a leisurely Point Reyes experience, grab a seat at our community table and watch the cheesemakers work their magic.
