It's Creamy. It's luscious. It's RED HOT!

For Valentine's Day, the Cowgirl Creamery cheesemakers have created a heartshaped, bloomy rind, triple-cream cheese made with our local organic milk. To add a bit of intrigue and seduction, we dust the cheese with a spicy blend of Georgia Flame and Jalapeno peppers grown and dried by our neighbors at All Star Organics Farm.

Red Hot For You With Valentine's Day approaching, it’s good to remember that both romance and cheese are enhanced by a pure heart, a sweet touch and a hint of spice. We’ve put together a collection that includes our Cowgirl Creamery RED HOTS, a triple cream heart shaped cheese dusted with sweet and spicy peppers. Also in the box is a wedge of our new WAGON WHEEL for making the most luscious grilled cheese sandwich ever. And for after dinner, a bag of decadent RUSTIC BAKERY double chocolate cookies and a little jar of MARSHALL'S HONEY. $48 plus FedEx overnight shipping. To order, click here.

Cowgirl Cheese

It was a typical cool and blustery winter day in Point Reyes Station when the barn doors at Tomales Bay Foods rolled open to reveal the bounty of Marin County's farms and ranches. Two months later, our first cheese, Cowgirl Creamery Clabbered Cottage Cheese, was presented to the community. The year was 1997, a short fourteen years ago. Our hearts fill with joy as we celebrate our 14th on February 12th, just two days before Valentine’s Day. Look for special anniversary offerings in our stores and on line from February 12-19th. Cheers!
