Summer French Collection

With this collection, you will get TOME DE RECOLLETS (12oz), from the Bordeaux region, a semi-firm cheese that’s a mix of cow and goat milk, washed in Sauterne and aged with a layer of juniper berries, cayenne and herbs, ST. Join our last Open House of the season at our First Street Creamery. You will meet the cheesemakers, learn how cheese is made and taste all of the cheeses that we make in Petaluma. Three Twins Ice Cream, our neighbor, will be there too, with samples of delicious organic ice cream. Yum! Wednesday, August 31st. 419 1st Street in Petaluma. 4 to 6 p.m. FREE!

Gather up to nine of your friends and take a tour of Cowgirl's Ferry Building location. During the tour, a cheesemonger will guide you through the tasting of three cheeses and a Sidekick treat, while regaling you with the history of Cowgirl and what makes each cheese so special. Help support our local thespians at Cinnabar Theatre while tasting your way through a sampling of locally grown farm goods and artisan foods at the Taste of Petaluma (see details in the Events section) Cowgirl Creamery will be hosting a table with our favorite bakery, Della Fattoria.
