American Cheese Society

The American Cheese Society was founded in 1983 as a national grassroots organization for cheese appreciation and “to help American cheesemakers make better cheese.” Over the years, the membership has expanded to include cheese retailers, wholesalers, educators and enthusiasts. We’re proud to be active members of this motley community. Their annual summer conference is not to be missed, especially if you’re a student of molds, cultures and enzymes.
